Melnyk has done a great mix on I'm with stupid....
And the Alter Ego mix on Psychological is great. Fundamentalism is very electronic, maybe not so danceable but definitely enjoyable!

Fugitive - overrated

Sodom - great

Psychological - good

Flamboyant - brilliant

I'm With Stupid - my second favourite remix of I'm with stupid

In Private - Could've been better but it's OK

Minimal - good

Gomorrah - terrible

I think it's great.

Fugitive is obviously superb. Minimal and Flamboyant are also top notch, and I love the two Soddom mixes.

Strangely I am not that mad on the Psychological mix - much prefer the album one.

All in all....very good.

Wish Fugitive was on the main album as well though. The record company obviously isn't too brave; what with this and not allowing The Soddom and Gommorah Show to be a single! The outrage!

I agree with will's view. I think the boys have gone nuts about remixers. It is a pitty that there are only a couple of tracks that worth it. But I also have to add that I am happy to have them.

I can't be arsed with remixes in general, so I never had any great hopes for this. Fugitive is wonderful, though. It's unlikely that I'll listen to any of the rest of it much, but that's no great shock.

Fugitive (Richard X Extended Mix) - 10/10
Sodom (Trentmølller Remix) - 9/10
Psychological (Alter Ego Remix) – 8/10
Flamboyant (Michael Mayer Kompakt Mix) – 8/10
I'm With Stupid (Melnyk Heavy Petting Mix) - 7/10
In Private (Stuart Crichton Club Mix) - 3/10 (pretty 'cheap' but I don't like the song anyway)
Minimal (Lobe Remix) - 5/10
Gomorrah (Dettinger Remix) - 6/10 (I'm not yet sure about that one)

Is it just my silly Media Player or the order of songs that appear on the Mediaplayer's "Nowplaying part" in Fundamentalism does not match with the ones on the sleeve ?
The CELL by Stephen King instantly hit number 1 in New York Times Bookseller Lists selling well over 200 thousand copies in three weeks. This affirms my opinion: People really need an occassional good horror read...

Personally I find 'Psychological' the most disappointing mix. It's got that horrible bontempi beat; it disgraces the Kraftwerkian beauty of the original. Or something.

Fundamentalism is a decent crack at a remix compilation, the only mix that really misses the mark for me is the Psycho mix. In Private is cheesy, but good fun. Fugitive is clearly a work of genius and should have formed part of a magnificent climax to Fundamental with ILTR and Integral.

-ism is infinitely better than the mixes from the Very-era, at least.
Love comes quickly, but is a catastrophe and a bourgeois construct etc.

Agreed. As Anne would say, 'Alter Ego' is the weakest link.
