Official site Fundamental buying - Disappointed!

You'd think a company affiliated wth the official site would be able to supply an order in a timely fashion wouldn't you?

I did leave it a bit late to order (last Thursday dinner time) but I'm bitterly disappointed that my order for the double CD Fundamental is still 'Pending' with no mention of when I might receive it.

I've behaved and not downloaded anything this time around, but this is honestly enough to drive you to illegal downloading... :(

Ease? You paid premium price & guaranteed late delivery. Aren't play/cd-wow/hmv/amazon/blahdvd/etc. cheaper/quicker?

Well, maybe I gave them too much credit, but I really thoight that if anyone would be able to supply on time then it'd be a company linked with the official site. The price didn't bother me much as for a couple of quid more I'd have rather have had it arrive quickly than use someone else and get it slowly.

I'm unintentionally clearly very wrong. :(

My Japonese copy from CD Universe just left yesterday when a lot of people already has it in their hands. :?

I know how you feel Steve, I ordered the double cd too from a local store, they can not pre-order my copy until album release of album then the order clicks in, then I would have to wait 2 to 4 weeks later to get it, hopefully sooner.

Waiting sucks, especially when the album was delayed 2 month.

I use play.com an awful lot. More for DVDs though like Quantum Leap :) and the other Tennant. :)

One of my friends ordered the I'm with stupid singles and Fundamental from Recordstore and he hasn't got *any* of them yet!!! I ordered mine from Amazon.co.uk and have had them all for a while, despite the fact that I am in Japan and my friend is in the UK. Oh dear!

I ordered the I'm with stupid singles from the official site weeks ago. Still haven't arrived. I ordered Fundamentalism from cd-wow. Arrived on Monday morning.

That'll teach me !

Its also strange that you can buy digital singles and albums of the new stuff everywhere but on the official record store. Even though have a section for it.

Ordered from official site and just got an email yesterday saying it had shipped.

Late? Sure, compared to other UK sites, but I'm in the US, so it is a wash, really. I'd rather pay extra $$$ and get it directly from official means.


(I also held out hope that there might be some "first 100 orders get it autographed" or something along those lines....no such luck)
