Slide nightclub in Sydney is having a Fundamental "album launch" party next Sunday night. Any Sydney Petheads planning on going? I know it is a school night and all, but I might try to make it.
I might try and get there...maybe aim to get there early so I can leave early seeing how it is a school night after all. I've never been to a PSB inspired event in my life so I'm kind of curious to see what it's like and who will go. Maybe I'll see you there Docoboy.

Hey Rhiannon ...is that you in your avatar? Is this the person I need to look out for?
Are any other Sydney fans lurking out there also coming along? My partner and I will get there about 8pm I'm guessing. It should be a good night, Slide is a great new venue. I hope they play LOTS of PSB and not just an occasional track.
I would say "Good but not great." The club it was at, Slide, is a new gay club. The crowd seemed quite trendy, but I'd say only 15% were there for the PSB album, and the rest was just their regular Sunday night crowd. I was there for about 3 hours, during which I heard 3 PSB songs played - S&G Show, Heart and Left To My Own Devices.
I gather Rusty and PetShopGirl also were there, although I didn't see them. Anyhow, any publicity is good publicity as the saying goes- maybe it's helped get the word out here that there is a new PSB album out.
Apart from meeting the delightful PetShopGirlxxx, I would also say the evening was something of a disappointment. It seems only a handful of PSB songs were played over the course of the night. We also heard I'm with stupid and Minimal earlier on, but left shortly after S&G. I suppose I was expecting someone to break a bottle of champagne and declare "Gawd bless Fundamental and all who buy her", ....or something like that. Obviously I was destined for disappointment from the beginning. I don't think there were too many die hard fans there either. There was only one rather obvious one, who seemed a bit deranged, so we steered cleared of him. I also managed to score an I'm with stupid promo CD with all the remixes, which was a bonus.
