The second CD single format of "Minimal", released on July 27th, will also contain a U-Myx track which enables you to make your own remix of "Minimal". For more about U-Myx, click on the link below.

PS the link gives a demo of how to mix your own track and they also announced in their news section on 23 May that Minimal would be available in U-Myx!

Oh! and it´s also something that makes me think not just about the U-MYX feature, also about a different version of the track!

By the way, I´ll love to have the album version on U-MYX format...not another mix...time will tell...

Can U-MYX stuff be used in CuBase, FruityLoops, Acid Pro etc...?

As long as I can use Neil's acapella vocals, and save them on my PC as wav-files, I'm sure it will be great to do a remix of it

Do you have accappella versions of any PSB songs

I'm fed up with sampling little vocal parts from official remixes (of course this always brings along some of the music *Sigh*)

New Order did this a few years back with Crystal and the program Acid. It was only OK, but that had mostly to do with the fact that Acid kinda sucked and Crystal was a shit song.

NO took it a step further and released the winner of the best Acid mix on some promo, I think. The Boys should do that!

I will say this: when distributed in its component tracks I lost what little appreciation I had or the song. I can’t listen to Crysal any more.

But yeah, this could be cool.

I only have accapella's of Home And Dry. Those were made available in 2002, for a Danish remix competition. The winning remix was to appear on the next cd-single, but that never actually happened.

The version that you could remix on the Jetstream single was the radio edit, so maybe the version for Minimal will also be the radio edit

However, I hope it's the album version

U-Myx is not that good. It only lets you to activate/deactivate blocks of sounds: voice, chorus, guitars, bass, orchestra, synths...

The good thing about it is that it can be used to isolate each separate track, and then use them in other remixing programs for better results.

As long as that's possible, it's fine with me

I don't care about U-Myx at all, I wish to use my own favourite production tool (Reason).

Yeah, this is why I said it's crap in the Minimal tracklisting thread! You can't really do a remix because you can't add anything or change a lot...I suppose you could do your own edit maybe.

Still, it's nice to listen to the individual bits
