Call me petty, but I always thought they (in particular Neil) would be defenders of correct grammar...
Though, of course, it could have just been a typical mobile phone typo... still if you post this somewhere, please correct it.

Hehehe, it does. It's so aloof... "oh dahlings, we are just off here and there, us jetsetters"... teehee, nonetheless quite a good feature of the new OS. Not sure they will keep it up for long though!

feels like a typical, hurriedly shot off text mess. to me. don't slag 'em off though... we WANT them to do this, no matter how bad they spell or write!
actually, this reminds me of a post in this forum in which someone was skewering Diane Warren's "ungrammatical" use of 'wanna' in Numb. I believe Neil's "You and her and I" takes the cake.
"wanna" is just a hick ole midwestern mercan contraction.
As something of a defender of correct use of the English language/spelling I have a real pet hate at the moment for people who say 'would have' instead of the shortened version of 'would have' - 'would've'.
Trouble is, they probably don't even see what they're doing wrong.
Surprised at this one from Neil though. He can't even blame it on predictive text.
Oh God, are we now going to analyse every single word Neil types? Let's be glad that he takes the time to send these unhandy sms'es to the website! And it's only human to make errors every now and then.
Anyone read "Eats Shoots and Leaves" by Lynn Truss? It's a really fun book by a stickler taking a stand against horrific abuses of grammar . HUGE surprise best seller here.
My favorite bit: in the author photo on the back flap, Truss is pictured poised over a movie poster with a marker adding an apostrophe to the film "Two Weeks (sic) Notice". Her expression is priceless! A total rebel out to do something criminal in the name of grammar.
