Minimal Radio Edit

The Minimal radio edit is a pointless excercise in more ways than one. First of all, it doesn't need a radio edit, and secondly, its ironic when it gets no radio play.

The album version is only 4 minutes 25 - they've released *many* singles far *longer* than that. (just a few come to mind: It's A Sin, Left to my own devices, Being Boring, Where The Streets, Go West etc. etc.

They should just have left it as the album version, since editing it doesn't appear to improve it at all.

They have, but all those singles you name was when they were A listed by Radio 1.

True, although that's because I had memorised all the track times from Discography, so those were the ones I quoted! *geek*

Maybe single track times have been dropping over time anyway, who knows?

I still stand by my remark that I don't think it was long enough to warrant an edit ...
