Numb Remixes?

As "Numb" was used by the BBC there is a wild rumour that it could be the 3rd single. If you could pick ideal/suitable remixers for this song who would you choose?

My choices:

Bon Jovi
Def Leppard
Aerosmith
Bonnie Tyler
Whitesnake

As much as I like remixes, I'd hate for Numb to be ruined by them. So, just b-sides please! >_<
Except, maybe a Trevor Horn one.

I think you're confusing the role of the producer and the remixer. Why would any of those artists have the first idea about how to remix Numb? You're thinking they could remix the track because some of their records SOUND like Numb. That's probably because some of their records were either produced by, or in the style of, Trevor Horn.

Bonnie Tyler could do a cracking remix, she's got epic talent!!!

LOVE def leppard. never missed a tour.although my girlfriend got hit with a pepsi bottle while on my shoulders at the last show I saw. lucky she did it probably would have hit me in the head if she wasnt there.

in any case they should strip it down a bit maybe just neil and an acoustic guitar,a light slow drum beat and a warm string pad.

Bonnie Tyler has a great rock voice. However, I think you'll find that her "epic talent" (and most of her hits) were down to a certain Mr Jim Steinman.

I reckon PSB could do a good ambient version of Numb, like they did with Home and Dry.

Luna park is my favorite fundamental song but its a bit too progressive sounding and deep to be a single.

Of course it will never happen, but Numb would be better served by a disc of differnet recordings rather than remixes, such as duets with people PSB would never normally work with such as Bonnie Raitt and Steven Tyler.

Nah it was all Bonny! As for Aerosmith, they once remixed Aphex Twin but Richard D James felt the remix was a little too experimental and decided against releasing it.

Wouldn't it be more of a new recording of the song than a remix if these bands (yes, bands) should "remix" it? I mean, they would add lots of heavy guitars, and probably new drums and bass too... what's left of the PSB recording then? Neil's vocals backed up my Aerosmith?

And Bonnie Tyler, isn't she just a singer? I bet she can't mix a track.
