Seriously- PSB Reinterpreted DVD

#1 Post by S-sense »

Is it avaliable yet? Its coming, just look at the official PSB-Site->Film & Theatre
Is it worth the money? (I would pay a load to see it live)
Is it coming to Europe? Neil and me are still hoping...

Who knows the facts?

from seeing it TWICE first hand, let me tell you that it is indeed worth it.

I have spoken to the guy who produced it, but as far as I know, nothing has been set in concrete yet... :?
what a performance tonight, should I react or turn off the light ?

Sigh ... I very much hope this comes to fruition. It sounds so wonderful.

Thanks for the update Steve. Keep us abreast, won't you?

Hey Steve, do you know if they have any plans to eventually take this show further afield then Melbourne?

here is the response i got:
Thankyou for your enquiry regarding a DVD of Seriously. Unfortunately due to
electronic rights, this is not commercially available.

As to further seasons or tours of Seriously....watch this space.

Just to back up what dgraysn says, I got exactly the same response when I wrote to the producer of what is apparently a DVD created only for promotional purposes. Very disappointing.

Of course, I suppose this could always change at some point in the future.

I contacted the shows producer and apparently the copy on the website was made for Neil and Chris ONLY in order to show them the show and what they did with it.

Its a one off DVD.

Rusty, apparently there is talk to take it to Sydney, but not sure when. If it does, apparently a DVD will then we filmed and made...

.... Oh, if only I'd been born rich instead of gorgeous -- I'd bankroll this project.

PS: A note to Mr. Tennant & Mr. Lowe -- Despite Max Bialystock's (The Producers) admonition to " NEVER put your own money into a show ", I think this might be the exception to the rule: Ohhh, there's LOTS of opportunities _____
