Anyone else prefer the new In Private to the Dusty one?

Its only the same as the PSB's doing Always On My Mind, completely different to the original by Dolly Parton (or was it Tammy Wynette?) and Elvis's version, but still a classic and refreshing change. The new In Private is a good, different version, forget about the original, that is indeed a classic in itself, but this is not a replacement, it's a bit of fun and it works well

This new version would not be getting such a bad rap if Dusty wasn't the original vocalist....and rightly so. Dusty had a way of making a song so completely hers, even when it was a cover version, just think of "The Look of Love". Having said that, I don't actually mind the new version. Elton is a great vocalist, and was one of the truely great pop (yes folks POP!) stars of the 70's. It's just kind of unfortunate that these days he's more famous for just being famous than for his music. His original stuff these days is so bland.
