PET SHOP BOYS - MINIMAL OUT NET WEEK, CREATE YOUR OWN REMIX...

Hi everyone,

Just a quick reminder that the boys new single "Minimal" is out next week, 24 July. Available on CD, ECD, DVD and download, formats include new songs, remixes, the fantastic video and special Umyx software for you to create your own remix of "Minimal."

Well there's Minimal 7" vinyl out later next week, as well as Fun...ism vinyl II (this one already on Monday I assume).

Yeah - the tracks are a bit glichy. Hopefully the CD version will be ok.

Hope it too, but I can't be sure about that. Time ago, U-myx was based on Wav format tracks, waht meas excellent sound quality, but very large files and hard to work on old PCs, so they were experimenting with different sound compressors on the latest times...and the sound quality is not good lately...

Works fine on my pc.
Sound seems ok too.
Previous u-myx software has also been fine.
love this format - wish more groups used it !

Just the acoustic guitars and percussion sounds good 8)

Just the drums, synths and vocoded minimal bits sounds good an' all!

The only U-Myx I've tried was 'Jetstream' by New Order which randomly but reliably kept crashing my computer... Needless to say, I didn't do much 'myx'ing before getting annoyed.

works fine - tried it on XP and Vista - works a treat, and the orchestra is fab.
