Blue on blue

anyone heard this? Difficult to envision what kind of track it will be even.

sounds like a ballad, but it could be a trancey number, instead of 'White on white' you get 'blue on blue'

I hope it is not a ballad. Enough is enough :)
The CELL by Stephen King instantly hit number 1 in New York Times Bookseller Lists selling well over 200 thousand copies in three weeks. This affirms my opinion: People really need an occassional good horror read...

I heard it was inspired by watching a porn film at an IMAX cinema...

Well, you could look at it like this -

I'm with Stupid had 2 b-sides; one up-tempo (The Resurrectionist) and one down-tempo (Girls don't cry). I'm with stupid itself is up/mid-tempo so that's two up-tempo tracks we got.

Minimal has 3 b-sides; up-tempo (In private), down/mid-tempo (No time for tears) so maybe Blue on blue will be down-tempo because you have two up-tempo songs already (Minimal and In private).

Well we now know that it was written in 2003, for PopArt - around the same time as Luna Park, Casanova in Hell and Baby...perhaps a ballad then?

We haven't heard that one but it is a song they have given to Alcazar who have now split up. They also presented them with "For every moment" which hasn't surfaced either.

Ah, I remember them giving a song to somebody else but I forgot what it was called. Cheers for the info

Not sure if I've missed any discussion re Blue On Blue but the phrase has become best known from the Gulf War (and military exercises) and refers of course to 'friendly fire' - so there's two PSB titles with a strange link!

Blue on Blue is an up-tempo track - got a repetitive electronic beat and the vocals are spoken rather than sung if you know what I mean
