Any idea if Woolworths have sorted themselves out now and are stocking/selling Minimal?

My local Woolworths (Lakeside shopping centre) always has the PSBs singles. If they didn't have it, I'd assume it was sold out, which is a good thing. Unless they only had 3 copies to start with. :?
I rule. You don't.

Woolworths generally stock PSB singles. The only one I remember them not having (at least Woolworths in Reading) was "I get along".

Woolworths even stocked "Battleship Potemkin" so they are bound to have "Minimal".

They aren't stocking it at all. It's not even in their top 40 singles chart, which is based on Woolworths projected sales.

Why don't they stock? There must be a reason.
The CELL by Stephen King instantly hit number 1 in New York Times Bookseller Lists selling well over 200 thousand copies in three weeks. This affirms my opinion: People really need an occassional good horror read...

Virgin and HMV in Bromley both had loads of copies, in all formats.

No chance. Surely if you want the single you would go get it from elsewhere.

Also, to get top 5 this week, you will probably have to sell 25 - 30k. Not a hope of that.

Think it will be sure a Top 10-hit!!
On Monday I made the trip from Brussels to London... just for one reason: to get all the thee Minimal-formats (it's hard to find them in Belgium)
I bought my copies in the morning at HMV (Trocadero) and went to Virgin (Picadilly) and HMV (Covent Garden). All of them had all the three formats in house. Before leaving in the evening I went back to HMV (Covent Garden)... It was very nice to see all the formats sold out (they had only three copies left from the Minimal-DVD).
So, it will be another hit for sure!!

Btw: I saw on the London Underground (can't rememeber the station's name) a very big poster promoting M.I.N.M.A.L !!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the reason Woolworths did not stock is because they only stock if they think it will go top 20...well this was the line I was fed 2 years ago when I was trying to find another single and they said they only order and stock a CD single if they feel it will get a top 20 position.

Also I know some places where Woolworths is the only music store.

Was it during the Very era?
