BOB is not bad (a well produced version could definetly improve the track) 7/10

I never read the credits for fugitive/resurrectionist/blue on blue but IMO one thing sets these apart from the tracks that ended up on fundamental.

as good as some of those B-side songs are, they sound rough.
these sound like songs the PSB have produced themselves and it kinda shows.maybe I'm wrong and they worked with good producers on them but I also notice the vocals are kinda bland and maybe working with big producers does make a huge difference. I tend to like more polished sounding songs .

It's got a nice, retro repetitive groove, but the less said about the lyric the better. What made That's My Impression interesting was that it told an intriguing tale. Blue On Blue, meanwhile, is the storytelling equivalent of an 82-year-old war veteran: been there, done that, but somehow forgotten to make the point he had originally intended to make.

The production is very Disco3-ish. They should have released this in 2003 (on Disco 3).

given the lyrics I would have expected the music to be like the kind thats usually playing when you see a beach scene on TV. flamenco sounding acoustic guitar,congas etc etc.
