I hate them being labelled as gay but most of the time, it sounds bad

Me too. They are not a "gay band" and the press does them nothing but harm saying they are. Most of the fans I know are str8 but to read a paper you would think they are Pete Burns.

Just checked the tv listings for the coverage that RTE2 will be giving to Sunday. 17.35 - 20.30 in the evening, and the most important part as far as us Petheads are concerned: 23.20 - 00.30.

So even less chance of much PSB coverage than I thought. Unfortunately the All-Ireland Hurling final is on next Sunday too so that's taking precedence as far as tv is concerned.

Dave Fanning has a four-page interview with the boys in Hot Press magazine.

Dave is being pretentious as always but it's not a bad interview.

I don't have the facilities to scan it, and there's no way I'm typing it up, but maybe someone else can scan it?

Any new pics there in the article ?

No, just the press pics for Fundamental.

The main one is the one of them holding the halogen bulbs.

The interview was done around the time of the album's release so not exactly bang up to date.

And you know what really annoys me? They are the headliners at the fest, as the magazine acknowleges by giving them an article longer that anyone else got, yet will the put them on the cover? Nooooo! Cause Hot Press is too cool for that. Only rock gods will do for the cover.

And then they stole the headline I had on the front of my newspaper's entertainment supplement for the Electric Picnic preview - Our Friends Electric. (Ours is the biggest entertainment guide in Ireland's second city so I'm not being precious here, they would monitor it every week).

Shower of langers.

Who's on the cover then? The Frames? Aslan?

Close enough.

There's a really badly done montage of secondary acts at the picnic.
