Chris goes back to school

#1 Post by Pet Shop Girl »

Chris Lowe revisited Arnold School in Blackpool, which he attended in the 1970s, to officially open the school's new music centre. Click on the link for a full report.

"I was staggered by the talent of the soloists and I never thought I would hear my songs sung back to me by a girls' school choir. That was a first for me."
No doubt they'll be on the next album. :P

Love this: "one half of 1980s chart sensations the Pet Shop Boys"

Somehow, I can't see St Cuthbert's inviting Neil back after 'at school they taught me how to be so pure in thought and word and deed - they didn't quite succeed'.

Nice story.

Like the picture where he's being given some school ties (one for him, one for Neil, presumably) ...

Is this his mum and sister?

"Opened by Chris Lowe OA" – nice! :)

I'm sorry but Chris looks awful in that pic.

He's the bulb off the old lady so perhaps she is his mum. The woman on the right does look like his sister Vicky, though a lot older than the last pic we saw of her in Literally a few years back.

What do you expect- he's in his 40's for cripes sake.....

Besides, he probably didn't have his makeup and wardrobe people with him....
