DJ Culturemix

#1 Post by Tom Angel »

I was wondering what other people's views are on this?

I consider the Grid Remix of DJ Culture to be one of the best remixes and it should really have been the single version, I think Neil and Chris may agree due to releasing it. The gorgeous wah wah guitar is more prominent, the synths more lush, and it's just got more of a driving rhythm in my opinion. .

It's one of the remixes that stays most close to the original track. I like how he incorporated the Being Boring bassline in DJ Culture.

I think Twoism meant to ask: was this remix the only remix of ALL remixes that was ever released on cassette single. Were no other remixes ever released on cassette single?

Very good remix of one of my favourite PSB tracks, though I do prefer the original, particularly the middle section which is classic PSB.

because of stupid uk chart rules at the time it had to released as an entirely different release to dj culture, hence its own chart position , etc.
