They look for 'weird' or somehow 'different couples'
or something. The couple in the picture shows the
Pope and AIDS wich is supposed to be ... a contrast.
There's a vote for the best 'weird' couples, you can
win a meeting with PETs.
Barbie and Ken would not be a contrast, they would
fit to eachother very well. Just as an example.
I have no clue how long these votings may take, the
page does exist since months.
For whatever reason a weird couple, as I don't think
that neither Neil/Chris nor Lucas/Williams are some
weird couple, I think they fit eachother well, every
pair regarded of its own. Could be the background of
this, I don't know.
At first I thought the fans are to dress up weird with
fellow petheads/friends/partners making a 'weird pair'
and send in the pictures or films ...

There is a song on Team America: World Police where there is a Take Off on the Play Rent where they repeat over and over the Pope has AIDS, of course the move came out a while ago and it was a different Pope.
