I had occasions to meet them in a couple of occasions during their 1999 and 2002 tours and my best memory was backstage in Toronto in 2002. They were very nice to us. I am very shy girl habitually and the first times I met them, I didn't say much but in Toronto I was a bit drunk and more chatty. Chris is fun to talk with even if we had troubles understanding each other because of our accents. I also remember the big kindness and generosity of Sylvia in Toronto in 1999.

I met Neil at my Aunt's wedding in 1988 and then again at her funeral a few years later, not great circumstances there as you can imagine.
We had our longest chat after the Astoria show at the party, he even gave me a little hug when he realised who I was, much to my mates amusement! Chris is cool, but have never really chatted that much.

Apart from record signings and after concerts, there were a couple of "non" PSB related meetings.
Had a quick chat with Neil as the wife and I waited to go into Closer to Heaven on the 2nd opening night.
Most surreal moment was in 2000 when I met Chris in the Trocadero arcade in Leicester Square.
A mate and myself ended up playing the Gauntlet 3D arcade game with him, and what I can assume was his nephew or someone (he was about 16)
For all the nerds here Chris played the Wizard if I recall correctly.

I chatted with Neil for about half an hour in the VIP area of Heaven last April shortly before I'm with Stupid came out. He was a genuinely nice chap and very polite and engaging. Chris was also there but i didn't get to speak with him.
My sister met Neil and Chris in the summer of 2001. They were at the Soho restaurant Alistair Little's and having dinner together before going to a charity performance of Closer to Heaven. She said that Chris was far more chatty than Neil but both were again very friendly to her (especially considering the fact that she was interrupting their meal!)

I'm always waiting...

I've only ever met them at the popart signing. I held up the queue a bit lol.. I was dead nervous and shaking like a leaf when it was my turn, then Chris looked at me and signalled for us to go up, (my daughter was with me) so I shook off my shyness and went up and I said to him 'You alright darling' he replied 'Hi you alright' and I told him to take his hat off but he wouldn't, then I said can I take your picture? (i have a camera with a huge zoom lens and i'd left it right out from when I was in the queue) and Chris went NOT WITH THAT FLASH YOU'RE NOT! LOL, he meant zoom. So I said oh ok then i'll change it now, and as I was looking down to do that my daughter looked at Chris, pointed at me and she said 'she fancies you!' ..Then the three of them burst out laughing, then Chris said 'Why? are you bloody mad?' .I went red, Chris went bright red and all shy and pulled his hat down aah. Then I took his pic with him looking shy lol. And I got a lovely pic of Neil and I said 'Thankyou darling' he gave me a nice smile and said 'Your welcome' .Moments i'll remember forever.. Hope Chris reads this thread, he must remember us lol.

When I was younger, I used to tragically hang around radio stations at the like, from time to time. On one occasion (The Palladium??), there was quite a big crowd and not much space and when people surged forward suddenly I actually got sandwiched between N&C in the melee. It is fair to say that I didn't fight too hard to extricate myself from the crush. It also took me a second or two to realise that I had my hand on Neil's arse. Comedy!
Prick up your ears.
Hi all, this is my first post!
Yes I met them a few times: Firstly in '99 during their "Nightlife" tour in NYC when they did a signing at Virgin Times Square. Then after the show when they signed my Very/Relentless, and lastly during their '02 "Release" tour in NYC when they performed live on the "Weekend Today" show outside!
