I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind of Thing...

#1 Post by kimphilby »

...well, alright, I did it for I'm With Stupid (& it worked!).

Time for all you Numb-haters to put your anger aside and go and buy a copy of Numb from a UK Chart eligible stockist. I wasn't going to buy both cds but now I am, plus I've downloaded it from 7digital (hell, its only 77p). I won't even listen to the radio edit version on cd1 but there you go, call me sentimental, but I want to give the boys as much support as possible and, thinking of the bigger picture, I want INTEGRAL to get the single release it deserves and will only stand a chance of getting if Numb is a respectable hit.

The 'word' that its gone from #12 to Top 10 on the midweeks is encouraging. SO COME ON!

I agree very much. As much as I loath this single, I still buy it. You aren't really a fan if you don't support the Boys.

You'd be surprised Tom, some people come on here just to bitch about how cr*p the new single is or the B-sides don't come up to scratch. I know its a forum to voice opinions but I'm with Kim & Techno, support the boys - or we know what will happen!!!!

I'm gonna buy the singles AND bitch at the same time. How about that?

I don't think you earn the right to bitch until you've purchased at least both cds.

That seems fair to me.

Why on earth should I support the boys when they do things that are the complete opposites of what I would like them to do? It doesn't make sense. I am going to buy everything like I always do, but in the second week of release in order to do what I can to make this particular release a flop and bring them back on the right track.

If they do get a hit with Numb, they'll be encouraged in thinking that this sort of thing is the way forward, when in reality it seems that most of the fanbase is not pleased.

Y'know what Joe, after 20+ years of pleasure and barely putting a foot wrong, I'm gonna let the boys have their Numb moment and support them all the same.

Why should everything they do revolve around you? Who are you anyway? Some Dane who whinges about everything and wants everything his own way, or he will do his Victor Meldrew impression.Get a grip and stop acting like some spoilt brat.

As if PSB releases are going to please everyone. Maybe they should come on here and ask you what they should release. Then you can ask a few people their opinions, copy them, then your arse licking is done for the day.

What a bitter, twisted, self-important philosophy.

I can agree with the 20+ years of pleasure, but 20+ years of barely putting a foot wrong??? Where have you been since 1994?

Who the hell do you think you are to dictate what is in good taste or not? Should Neil and Chris consult you prior to deciding what to release? Should they also consult you before going to the loo?

Also, newsflash, PSB don't owe YOU anything. It is THEIR career, the product of THEIR creativity. In other words, they can release what the hell they want, and whenever they want to. And being a pissy, self-important, little brat is risible and pathetic.

Do feel free to dump them altogether and / or sod off, seeing they are clearly not YOUR puppets, doing YOUR bidding all the live long day. How dare they not consult the mighty "Joemoz", eh?! Never has the song Delusions of grandeur been more appropriate.

Wow, did the world supply of Prozac dry up yesterday? Quite some anger here towards Joemoz's quite fair comment. Hey peeps, take some e instead and rejoyce over the fact he's at least still gonna buy the releases
