I see many celebrities here in L.A. from time to time and it's no big deal for me, but I am so Star Struck with Neil & Chris, being next to them, knowing that they are a few minutes away from me here in L.A., or where they are staying it's just an awesome feeling!
I hope it continues to be every four years for a long time.
Also today my next favourite band since the early 80's Genesis has announced a Reunion with 20 european shows for 2007 and 20 or so shows in the U.S. in late 2007!
So awesome music week for me!

I don't normally watch these reality type shows but as soon as I heard Mario Lopez was gonna be a contestant, I cleared my Tuesdays. Yes, It's a bit of a guilty pleasure but @ least it's not one of those shows with unpleasant people doing unpleasant things to each other.jhezbone wrote:does anyone else think that 'Dancing with the Stars' is ridiculously gaudy? I mean, it's good publicity for PSB but christ, 'Dancing with the Stars'???
Instead, it has Mario Lopez & his butt!
The guy who books the musical guests MUST be GAY. He's had Scissor Sisters on & now PSB.
Oh & a big round of applause for Dave Dorrell for getting our Boys on 1 of the most watched shows in the US.
I like it here ~~ wherever it is ...

Meh it's exposure--and to be honest the UK and Oz Dancing with the Stars have these kinda pop acts all the time, no?
As for song choice they have to pick one that people can dance to--but for PSB that's not too hard. When Scissor Sisters were on the results show they got to perform *two* songs though--one from each album and one iwth dancers one without. no fair...

ok, just saw it. was sooooooooo cool seeing them on an america hot TV show.
they both looked good, it was a REALLY faithful old school version of West End girls in fact I though it was pretty much exactly the actual please version.
I would have thought they would have used one of the many more modern versions they have done. doesnt matter it was great and and everyone in the audience was clapping. they seem like a good fit for this show. I bet they had fun watching the dancers also.
