It it EU version, catalogue number 3785849.Dipso wrote:I don't have the catalogue number, but the box of the DVD I saw was written completely in English and said "Made in EU" on it. It also had the same sleeve as the standard edition. I presumed it was the North American edition when I saw it.
However, HMV Japan's website would now seem to have a different version listed:

I haven't seen this version in the shops yet, but I will have a look for it next weekend.
My NTSC is from Canada- we have also a NTSC Region ??? DVD - also without Flamboyant ???
- and a NTSC Region ??? DVD with the video on it??
for these both I need answers on the following questions:
1. Are the inlays of the NTSC versions also miss the entry of the video?
2. what are the disc numbers for both discs, which can be found on the inner ring of the DVD?
3. need the correct labeling of the versions, which can be found in the back inlay over the yellow barcode - there must be somethings like: "NTSC: ALL REGION.... / DISC FORMAT: .... DUAL LASER DISC..."
Yes, it does! That's why the HMV Japan site's reference to it being an "HK" (Hong Kong) copy perplexes me, too! Perhaps it was manufactured in the EU and is distributed from Hong Kong primarily for the Japanese market (?). As convoluted as that sounds, it's the only thing that makes sense to me -- at least until someone else can offer a better explanation.Dipso wrote:Just to confuse the issue even further, doesn't Hong Kong generally use PAL?
