Ok so i'm fascinated with Pet Shop Boys' Backing singers/vocalists (See Left to HER own devices thread) at the moment.
Sally Bradshaw has me hooked on Classical Vocalists & after watching the movie The Dish several times recently, mainly for the movie soundtrack. Australian singer Tina Arena sounds as if she could do wonders on a Tennant/Lowe song....sorry Sylvia.
Don't you think Sylvia Mason James has done her bit...make way for some fresh talent?

Exactly!tojo wrote:Sylvia is the best. She should do more vocals for them. Perhapes another duett like "Metamophosis". Her voice is absolut fantastic.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

Sylvia could actually "kill" poor West End girls with her vocal. Could West End girls really sing? I highly doubt that. PSB always use real live singers. Forget about West End girls - there won't be "Britney Spears Disneyworld" intervention into PSB world!
Chris Heath: Why you're surfing?
Chris Lowe: Coz we can!
Neil Tennant: Exactly.
