I'd have put money on that if I didn't think I'd be tempting fate

I took a draw. I thought it was a good bet really with Barcelona being a shambles internally.
The 2nd leg is one of those games where any outcome wouldn't be a surprise. I think the last time Barca were at Anfield, they tore Liverpool to shreds with some awesome stuff. With Barcelona being poor at the back, i think Liverpool will snatch it.
Arsenal once again showed that they are the worst losers ever. Fabregas has to be the biggest baby in football. Even so, all 3 red cards were wrong. It should have been Eboue that was sent off.

Just watched The Championship highlights from yesterday. God, Leeds are shocking; I had them on my accumulator to beat Wednesday but they look as good as down now. Leeds in the Third Division!
As a QPR supporter, the only thing that might keep us up is the general crapness of the other teams at the bottom but any team that loses 5-0 at Southend deserves to go down. Sorry Kris!

I predict Leeds to win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy next year! I can't believe how utterly shite we are, the season after reaching the playoff final!Janet Street-Porter wrote:Just watched The Championship highlights from yesterday. I think Leeds will stay up. I've seen QPR twice this season and they are the worst side in the division, which is understandable with Gregory in charge.
Southend's poor start will send them down and Barnsley haven't got enough to stay up but with Luton not knowing how to win, it wouldn't be surprising if they go down.
Sunderland wil go up automatically, along with boring Birmingham. After seeing Brum three or four times this season, i cannot understand how they are up there.

My heart says Southend can still stay up - we do have quite a kind run-in, including home games against Leeds, Burnley, Luton, Barnsley and Colchester, which are all definitely winnable - though if I was a betting man I'd go with the current bottom three to be relegated. Barnsley are a very poor side but they seem to dig out results when they need to, and have improved slightly since they signed the two Hungarians on loan.Undertaker wrote:I think Leeds will stay up. At the other end of the table, Derby and Sunderland deserve to be promoted automatically, with either West Brom or Birmingham to join them in the play-offs. Birmingham are indeed a pretty mediocre side but equally they have plenty of match-winners - Gary McSheffrey, DJ Campbell, Cameron Jerome, Niklas Bendtner - who are capable of scoring out of nothing.

Coming onto the pitch to try and smack him was totally wrong. He should have waited for the over rated lump of shite in the car park. It's more proof though that Frank Lampard has become the latest player to be hated by most. He's not liked at all. Similar to David Beckham back in 1998.
Unless fat head starts producing for England, he will be the next player roundly booed by his own fans when hes playing for his country.
