Disco 3

#1 Post by dannii »

tried search engine for main ''Disco 3'' topic or topics for each of the new tracks from the CD but there aren't any, so place your thoughts about the album and tracks here
this is my fav PSB album this month, I listen to it almost everyday and it's really type of CD you can listen to in full, there's no gaps in tracklist, rhythm follows nicely and ends with a beautiful ballad to put you to sleep :D
Time on my hands, Positive role model, Try it (I'm in love with a married man), Somebody else's business, If looks could kill - amazing electro stompers, great new rendition of Here
but the best thing for me is Neil's voice on this CD, it's different this time
it sounds very dark, with a LOT of effects, almost unrecognizable in ''If looks could kill'' :D
I could type a lot more as I'm currently under ''Disco 3'' impression lol :D

It's the best of the Disco series so far by a mile, IMO.

I listen to it often, just recently as a matter of fact.

I also just happen to listen to Disco 2 yesterday (runs for cover)

Well, hang in there buddy -- I'm sure they'll get your Bi-polar meds sorted out soon.

I certainly agree that D3 is really a fine album. I gave it an A on Wayne's most recent poll.
D2 on the other hand got an F - but that's only because there were no lower letters to pick.
I like it here ~~ wherever it is ...

well if looks could kill has pretty much what I love in a PSB track. spacey, very electronic. I think its in the same vein as minimal in some ways.

not that big a fan of positive role model I just seem to love how it sounds when I crank it up at the beginning with the bass up loud. its powerful. otherwise I only really love that middle part where he sings positive!! positive!!

I love the idea of the piano version of london but I would have liked it better had chris did the keyboards and neils vocal wasnt kinda rough sounding.

I really dont think much of anything else on it except the verse parts of somebody elses business.the chorus lets the song down IMO.

Disco 3 is good... Disco 2, track/remix wise is good... the continuous mix is part is not good. if it was just seperate tracks, and not mixed, would be a lot better ^^

For sure Disco 3 is the best of the series :boo: , it has more new songs than the others 2 Discos. And some new tracks are very good like Positive Role Model, Time On My Hands or Try, then I love the remix of Here and London (voice+piano) while the remixes by Superchumbo and Felix are weak tracks for me.

The Disco 3 Vinyl has a few different things on it too. Extended version of Somebody Else's Business, Full Version of the Radical Blacklite mix of London, the Radicak Brakelite Dub and the Westbam in Berlin mix of London... Am I right? that was from memory. I'm in Korea, and my Vinyl is in Australia.

And the PSB dub of 'Home' ;)

I play it in my car all the time. I agree, I think it is the best of the series.
Stay the course or change it up?

...and the UK Disco 3 vinyl (LPDISCO 3) version of 'Here (PSB New Extended Mix)' is different than the CD version of 'Here (PSB New Extended Mix)' with a slightly longer intro.
