Have we seen the last of Pet Shop Boys performing at the big arena's like Wembley Arena & Birmingham NEC ?
When they done the "Somewhere" shows at the Savoy that was great, that was the whole concept of the show and the same goes for the Release tour. The smaller "city" venues suited the ambience of the show.
The current Fundamental tour again seems to be hitting the smaller venues. Maybe the audience capacities are lowering but then extra dates are demanded. Being billed as a world tour i would have thought the bigger venues like Wembley & NEC would have been more suitable.
Having not been to any of the scheduled venues i cannot comment on them. They may well be suitable for the type of "Cubism" show. No doubt all will be told when they hit Brighton. The nearest venue to me....that was until they added Swindon!!!

Wembley Arena is horrible. Good riddance.

Hardly areanas, but Radio City and the Wiltern shows were pretty big venues given their US popularity (see geowaynes site) ..... if you want to see them in front of a very large crowd I would wait for the festival dates in the summer
