I told her US distributor id be happy to buy the track. But her management and Astralwerks said it will likely appear April 17th as a maxi single download on the digital stores.
The way the music labels distribute music only promote piracy. Its a global marketplace and we'd like to buy stuff as soon as we can.

Re: Tracey Thorn's Kings Cross
As much as I love Tracey Thorn, this version is not my favourite. It is quite raw and lacks the lush sounds of PSB. To be fair, there would not be much point in Tracey attempting to create a pet shop boys sound, we would only be disappointed. So, we get tracey doing what she does best! It's agreat compliment!

Boredom and total disappointment
. She perfectly ruined the Song
.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)
