Chris Lowe - Homeless

#1 Post by Suburban_Boy »

From an interview on an Australian website (linked from the official site).

He’s in a London hotel room, and not because he’s on tour. “No, I wanted a change so I sold my flat,” Lowe says. “I’m staying here until I find something else.”

Wonder how long he's been living in a hotel, his flat sold ages ago didn't it? I know Richard Harris the actor lived for many years at the Savoy in London until he died recently. I have to admit, as long as the room was decent, I think I could live in a hotel. Fancy a midnight snack, just call room service!

Its either it or something very similar to it.

I was thinking £425 a week is actually very reasonable, it must be quite small (for a loft)

He did that in the early days when he was looking for a new home. He was about to stay for the weekend but he stayed there for a year.
Poor little thing. :( Hope he finds new house soon.

As far as I remember he dislikes possesions and is quite minimalistic. A hotel room would cater for his needs perfectly.

Chris effectively made himself homeless in the mid-90s too. On that occasion he lived with Neil for a year yet again.

Heh, that's more than I pay per month on the mortgage for my 5-bedroom Victorian terrace in Liverpool...

I already mentioned that. Check my previous post. And it was in mid 1980s not 90s.

Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.
