PSB items you have just because you're collector

#1 Post by DJAMIX »

Which PSB items would you give away if you weren't a PSB collector?

For me:
- Yoko Ono - Wlaking on thin ice
- Closer to heaven
- Fat Les 2000 - Jerusalem

And you?

In private Tomcraft remixes promo 12", paid too much for it when it was first doing the rounds, then again it would probably be difficult to give it away after listening to it!

Blaknoisewhitesoul 7 inch dirty darkenss / sometimes withouth the petshopboys which came complete with a page printed off the internet slagging off PSB.

Two items I'd NEVER give away but would've own if I wasn't obsessive:
1. Hardback copy of "The Dairy Book of Home Management" edited by one Neil Tennant, 1980 edition.
2. 100th copy of the American Magazine "Out", given to be by a friend and featurng PSB cover pic and Neil interview.

I'd give away some of my duplicates; my spare Chris Lowe remix of Music For Boys and my spare 1-track French promo of Yesterday, when I was mad strike me as being particularly useless.

(I only keep them to increase the rarity ;))

I've lost interest in collecting every single release by PSB. My only goal is to own all their music, and every official remix of any song.

This basically means I would glady throw away several 12-inches and 7-inches which I have on cd, etc. The only vinyl I would keep, are the ones that feature unique versions of songs.

Maybe some of the duplicates I have like GW UK CD single or A5 promo sheets of tour dates. Stuff like this I include free with items purchased from me.

The masses of variants of New York city boy I managed to lay my hands on at the time. Don't like the song at all, and it is probably the one I have most formats of!
