The guys @ Radio 2 are soo boring...

I've just listened again on my IPOD this time and you can indeed hear Chris's 'tinkering' on the final minute on It's a sin. You can hear him play a counter melody to the main It's a sin theme.

I take it from the  that you had the record function and a mic running on your Ipod, while you were at the concert ......

No. Just have a DAB radio with a record function!

Record the concert, transfer it to IPOD.

With the virtual strip search to get into the concert, I doubt many people managed to record it!

Security was bloody tight wasn't it ?

I did actually have my tiny MP3 player recorder and mic with me, but in the end thought "it's going to played on the radio in a few days anyway ..." so I didn't bother getting it out of my jacket.

Looking back, I wish I had just recorded It's a sin, if only to prove that the radio version was heavily edited.

Actually, I don't think it was edited. The studio mixing makes Chris's part sound much quieter than it did on the night.

Also, the version on my ipod has a higher bit rate than the version that appeared on Rapidshare, so you can hear a lot more of the 'edges' of the music.

I loved this concert so much. Not sure why.
The sound was so good and the mood so warm.

I loved the way the synth sound was more prominent.Image
I dont know if all concerts are like that ?
(or just my poor hearing when they were live here) Image

Whatever the reason, I wish they did it more often.

Anyhow, I so loved this concert, I would buy it as a CD.
