The other rounds saw landslide defeats for certain songs so no point in prolonging the inevitable. So, its not quite as abitrary as it looks.
Exactly!

"Crack under the intense pressure" ? :? No, rephrase that to: "Shocking display of bad taste". If this REALLY is the average taste of PSB fans, I'm just worried! Four complete songs were voted off before the 1.30 minute instrumental filler "God Willing", and now it seems people like "Psychological" better than "Indefinite Leave To Remain". This leaves just two options open: you have bad taste, or you're simply deaf.

I'm sorry but why should everyone agree with your choice.

Everyone has different taste and the sooner you realise that the better.

Actually there's a third option. Common sense. God Willing is merely a piece of music as is any 'song' and if I can sit through that and quite enjoy it, despite its comparitive shortness, instead of skipping the track like I always do with 20th Century or not play it at all (Blue on Blue & Party Song) then its more worthy than the tracks I don't listen to.

I actually thought you were joking when you said to withdraw your vote and hence my tongue-in-cheek reply, but if it upsets you that much that some people happen to prefer Psychological to Indefinite Leave to Remain, then its probably for the best. Just let us 'non-psb fans' decide the outcome.

I know. Which is why I said that I could understand why ITLR would be voted off in favour of tracks like Minimal, TSAGS, Integral or I Made My Excuses And Left... - but really, voting a great song like ILTR off, in favour of Psychological? Give me a break, seriously. It's like voting Rent off, in favour of Hit Music, or so...

I don't say people have to agree with my taste. You can vote whatever you like. I just happen to believe that the taste of the 'average PSB fan' is awful when a song like ILTR gets voted off in such an early stage. And it's my right to have that opinion.

Then it puzzles me why you're not voting for Psychological, given that it's actually ahead of ILTR right now (albeit by ONE vote).

On the other hand, I suppose it's not really fair to change ones vote during a round, so forget what I wrote!

I removed my vote, so that my tactical voting (which might not have been so tactical in the first place) will not influence the final results. So if ILTR survives another round, it's not because of my tactical vote.

You can indeed decide the outcome of this weakest link competition. People who don't list Indefinite Leave To Remain in the Top 10 of best Fundamental-era tracks are indeed NO Pet Shop Boys fans in my eyes. Especially not when you call it "unplayable", while you happily sit through bloody God Willing.

The arguement could run on and on so I'll agree to disagree.

I shall not be voting in future rounds.
