There was a bit of a standoff with a few of the competition winners, a few had been told that their ticket was for them and a guest .... cue quite a bit of discussion with them and the stewards. :?
(I hope the guy from Scotland managed to get in, fair do's he'd been queueing since about 4pm. )

My mate managed to get in by the skin of his teeth after running from Oxford Circus tube station. All the seats were taken on the ground floor, but luckly the stewards managed to get him a place on the balcony.
Agent Buttocks and myself got there fairly late and also had a bit of trouble getting in...apparently too many tickets had been given out to competition winners (ho ho...!) and they were sturggling to find seats for others on the guestlist....Being on the guestlist ourselves, we had to wait until right at the very end to go into the hall and so we ended up in the back row. Was still an enjoyable night and a great view though... Glad they added in a few different songs to the tour.

Shame we didn't see you there to say 'hello' to, Redsock...Only person I recognised was dear old Doris...
Less of the old you.....! x

Hello All,
I am the 'guy from Inverness'. YES, I GOT IN!!!
Just...
They had told me it was full and shut the doors, an adamant BBC producer was straight down the line and wasn't hearing any sob stories. However the girls on the door still seemed to be looking out for me and my persistance paid off. I was let in at 1924 and hurried through security, but still not quite there until the thumbs up came from upstairs and I was ushered to a seat next to the PSB manager (Dorrell).
Got a great view, and was there for the start, including the wit that is Stuart Maconnie!
There were still around 3 or 4 spare seats upstairs so I guess 'full' doesn't always mean it.
Thanks for all those who helped me out (you know who you are) and thumbs up for a great gig. Well worth paying twenty quid to park, fifty quid in diesel and eight to Ken Livingstone for congesting his highways, plus the 11 hours driving....
A great night... don't forget to tune in tonight at 8pm.

Paul.

WOW!

I'm shocked by the quality of this live... Tracklist, neil's vocals, arrangements... are perfect. PSB are getting Excellent live!

King's Cross, Integral and Domino Dancing are my highlights

Oh yes, it was great! They do keep getting better with each show, this one last night was my second gig this year. It was an outdoors gig, but was worth it.

I was one of the lucky ones at the gig and it was great - I can hear from Trunkguys MP3 that somebody has been hard at work on mixing the gig - Neil's vocals are totally different and plenty of "plug-ins" have been used to polish it up!

I wonder if anybody has a better quality MP3 of the gig? It like to make a CD as a souvenir, maybe you could PM me if you have one?

Be great to have one recorded from the radio rather than from the BBC stream.

Either way it's a great broadcast.

Nightlife back and fresh from Ibiza.....Not!

Yes we did leave pretty quick Andy and I needed to go to the nearest pub and take a pee - shame we didn't get chance to say hello, maybe some other time! Was you the tall guy with black T-shirt looking slightly like Neil Tennant standing near the front of the cattle shed?

I personally didn't know any others from here apart from sitting next to Flaffer and not realising it. Oh and I did recognise James but only at the last minute before we were let into the theatre.

No, but I was stood about two places behind him in the queue outside (until I was whisked to the front luckily managing to avoid all the trouble that ensued soon after). He did look a little bit like Neil didn't he? Assuming we're talking about the same person of course. Put him in a top hat and a black coat and he'd be mobbed!

Yep, thats the fellow - a very Release era looking Neil! He kept looking over and smiling at me, thats what made me think it may have been you.

You can actually hear BBC radio live online. No matter where you live. I heard it when it was on air.
Interviewer:

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

Great show. Me and my wife travelled down from Edinburgh.

Really enjoyed ourselves.

I was surprised though at how far Chris was from the audience...

More like a session musician...
