theres a good song in there.

it just sounds messy. unfinished like it was recorded and released before the proper re-write to smooth out the edges before recording.I like the music to the chorus but the verse parts sound like some kind of muffled dirge.

its certainly better than blue on blue girls dont cry and bright young things, at least to my ears.

I agree although I think Sexy Northerner is one of their very worst songs ever. As a b-side I think it is only surpassed by Too Many People and Delusions of grandeur.

I like Sexy Northerner. To me, The Resurrectionist in on a par with that and the Bilingual b-sides. Only Shameless and Too Many People beat it from Very onwards.

Hmmm, I would answer for oneself to you both. Don't get me wrong, I quite likes this song. But, don't forget it's all depends from personal taste and favours: personally I would rate it much lower than "Luna Park" (my third favourite from Fundamental - next to "Minimal" and "Twentieth Century") and rest of the songs. Furthermore, in my opinion, "italian boy" wasn't best b-side from this era. Currently it's "Bright Young Things", for me. I'm still waiting for "Integral" release to hear it's b-sides and finalize my judgement.
(Hey, how about "Integral" b-sides - BlueSwan, don't you think it were too early to start this series ? Although, now it's only rumours by Chris' indiscretion...).
By the way, my next vote will be "Integral". Great song with outstanding lyrics and long-expected single, but something odd in core of it, which impedes me to like it completely.
Should we bet on winners of this contest - I mean, it's not far away from final round? Guess, it'll be battle "Minimal" vs "Fugitive". Hope, it'll be "Minimal".
