Any chance of Chris singing again?

#1 Post by Aqrab »

Its been a while since he sang anything, we heard "we going home" on Home and dry and do you think it was Chris' voice in few places on "metamorphoses"?

I think Chris has an vocal input on every PSB album. Can anyone confirm that? He sings "I'm all alone again...I'm all alone" in I made my excuses and left by the way.
at rock bottom :wall:

He should sing "We all feel better in the dark" part II. I love when he sings sexy songs.

Cheers,

I've never been a fan of his singing. in fact I was dissapointed with lies as I wonder what it would sound like if neil sang it.

he's an aquired taste I think.

Actually i like the tone and texture of his Voice whcih is totally opposite of Niels, Painnaro, and we all feel better are still in my favorites.

(looking to the cover of "Fundamental")... Nah.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

I like his postscript 'song', but I tend to think of him as the Ringo Starr of the Pet Shop Boys (in terms of vocal).
"Enjoy it while it lasts ... "

Yeah Postscript is amazing, but really short.

I had no idea it was Chris singing it when I first heard it. I thought it was the male choir from "Go West"! I came across the fact many years later.

Spot on. That was my reaction as well.

As a fan of Neil's voice, it was a (huge) disappointment to be missing another instance of his apposing his voice to another track, style et al.

Interviewer : It has been said that Ringo may not be the best drummer in the world

Lennon : Hell, Ringo isn't even the best drummer in the band...

I agree. I don't know what it is, but I like it. It comes on at work sometimes.
