The person reacting oversensitive is you. You post a message in a public forum, bashing me for editing a Wikipedia topic you aren't even involved, nor interested in. You even call it a 'speech', as if I need to be taught a lesson. I dislike your attitude, emphasizing my alledged lack of humour. Ridiculous, since you don't know me at all.

I don't consider this discussion a little argument. If you wanted to keep it little, you could have sent me a pm about it, I could have given you a more detailed explanation about my decision to act (including examples), but you had to post in public that I'm a humourless prefect. So stop the crap about appreciating my posts or similar nonsense. I loathe people who act the way you do.

You keep on stressing that people here don't know you, but yet you keep on making broad sweeping statements about other people based on their posts. You say you are having fun in this debate, yet your every post just drips with venom. You are the one who has used the phrase "do you realize you are breaking forum rules here?" so often it should be copyrighted to you, yet among other things you have called Janet "a crock of shit" in this thread and stated that you "loathe" people that have just voiced their disapproval of your actions in a very civil manner – much more civil than your posts.

Funnily enough, despite you being the self-appointed highest moral being in this forum and the guiding light to us all, I have yet to see even one other member here actually defending you in this thread. I also have a hard time remembering a debate involving you that didn't end up in some kind of high noon with personal insults and cries to the moderators for help. What conclusions could we draw about that?

The conclusion can be that some people are hypocrite and use double standards to judge other people. I called JSP "a crock of shit" after he/she/it introduced those words to characterize Wikipedia. I simply added some logic: Wikipedia is what people make of it. So if you are a crock of shit, the page you contribute to, will also be a crock of shit.

However, I'm supposed to 'hang'. If JSP edits my user page on Wikipedia, or writes on a Wikipedia page that a particular PSB Forum member has the Down syndrome, it's "fun". Why are you so mild towards JSP? Because you use double standards, when it comes to judging actions.

If people who don't know me, make statements about my mental health, why am I not allowed to do the same? Why am I not alllowed to use the word "loathe", when I give my opinion about the hypocrisy I mentioned? Nowhere in this topic did I ask for assistance by moderators. If somebody feels that I don't respect forum rules, inform one of the moderators. They will take appropiate action. In all my years on PSB forums, I never received one complaint.

I'm not a guiding light, nor a highest moral, nor self-appointed. I'm just a very normal human being, who also makes mistakes. I don't need other forum members to defend me, I either defend myself or ask moderators to act, if I think things get out of hand.

For the record, I didn't see the Down syndrome bit – but I do agree that it was out of order, no matter about whom it was said or whoever wrote it there. I can also understand you being offended by the references to your good self, although I didn't perceive the one quoted in this thread particularly offensive. However, I thought the whole "vandalizing" of the Shop Boyz Wikipedia page was a funny bit of situationist prankery, a practical joke. I'm not going to claim any philosophical high ground about it exposing the relativity of truth and so on: I just thought it was funny – just like The Onion, The Daily Show and Borat are funny; all of which also blur the line between fact and fiction, real and imagined for humoristic and satirical purposes. I also find the idea of somebody asking Fat about his favourite Henry James novels hysterical and basically harmless.

I also find the posts by Janet and his various aliases usually very funny. Which doesn't mean that I like everything he writes, just most of it. So while I don't find adding "fascist" to something particularly funny, thyat doesn't mean that I can't laugh at his other postings.

If you "loathe" people who disagree with you in a rather civil manner, then what word would you reserve for people who actually do terrible things in reality: the rapists, racists, homophobes, drug dealers and so on. It's alright to get annoyed or irritated by people on the internet, but actual loathing is a rather disturbing word to be used in a discussion like this, and shows just how angry you become in discussions like this. Just as I find declaring "this is the last message I exchange with you on a PSB forum" very melodramatic, especially as you both are veteran forum members with no previous history of any kind of feuding. It also shows that it's you - both in this discussion and in general - who is usually doing the most extreme and harshest judging of other people. I personally rather have double standards than be accused of that.

I don't need a thoughts-police. I can perfectly well decide for myself which behaviour I loathe and what annoys me. If I happen to loathe hypocrisy (which I do and always did, actually), it doesn't mean I don't loathe rapists, racists, whatever. If I use the same word to describe my opinion, it doesn't mean I put hypocrites on one level with racists, rapists, etc. In fact homophobes and racists ARE hypocrites, but that's a totally different discussion.

I have no interest in exchanging messages with prejuidiced, hypocrite people. Simple. I place the behaviour of BlueSwan in this topic in this category. I can decide for myself which discussion tactics I consider civilised or not.

As for my judging of people: I call some people hypocrite, I called one user over here homophobic (because he actually is). That's all. In the meanwhile, I'm being accused of psychological disorders. Somebody even claimed that I was on the verge of committing suicide. But of course it's ME who does the most extreme and harshest judging of people. Nobody speaks up in my favour when somebody posts a comment like that. Hence my observation: double standards.

I guess comments about me wanting to commit suicide all fit within your idea of fun. If they don't, then why am I never backed up by people when such comments are thrown at me? If they do, let me comment on people too and qualify my actions as 'fun' (which would - ironically - mean I do have a sense of humour after all). Why can others get away with it (or even get support) and why should I hang for it?

The short summary seems to be that I'm supposed to deal with all kinds of comments. If I attack them, counter them, or give my opinion about others, there always seem to be 2-3 other people popping up, to support the person who commented me. Just my observation. But mind you, I'm nuts and I have no sense of humour. In fact, I don't even understand why you spend time on discussing with me. I suggest you put me on ignore, so that you don't have to cope with my psychiatric rants.
