I love integral but I also feel the message and timing of it is outdated by around 6 months.
but I'll take what I can get if only to get somethin new.

Actually, I don't think the "message" will ever be outdated... or at least I hope not. If you are referring to the particular event that inspired "Integral", then yes, I agree, that will have been forgotten by some people. But, as I said, I don't think it effects the central message of the song, which is very "1984" Orwellian.

As long as there's neo-Luddites, it will be topical. Alas, neo-Luddites aren't generally the greatest aficionados of synthpop! Retrofuturists will appreciate it.

Within the next 9 months the UK is very likely to be introducing some kind of ID card.
The song needs a tight, more modern sounding remix, but the message is still relevant.

No it isn't. It will be very unlikely in the next 9 months. It has to be passed. It has to be costed and it still has to be debated, and many MP's are still against it as are liberty groups, and public opinion is still largely against it, so 9 months is very, very far fetched.Even if the ID card is passed it still has to be properly piloted and that alone could be between 12-18 months. Should it be introduced it'll come in the next parliament, so you're talking 4 years at the earliest.

The song will make no difference to the outcome of the ID card. It's also a song about identity as a whole, personal identity, than a call to arms.

maybe you're right!

Send a short mail to Redman yesterday, so he should drop Neil a line about all the discussion here and he only got a short "Nothing has been confirmed" message back! Not sure, but the email was very short for a Redman-Neil conversation. Seems we have to wait some more weeks for all! And looks like the boys get a bit pissed by all the delays.
So if you ask me - it's now on the record company to do the next steps!

"Nothing has been confirmed" sounds just like the answer I could expect. If these were just rumours, then we would have got a "No" answer from Neil.

Just wondering if there are some issues with these releases to be solved...

To be honest I wouldn't be 100% surprised if it was because of the Terra Firma / EMI sale (confirmed today I believe).

These kinds of processes can hold up / delay much while they are ongoing. I haven't been able to get anything out of the record co - everyone's been very quiet this past few weeks.

I think you may well be right. EMI is in a state of flux at the moment.

Still, it shouldn't affect the release if it's already been planned, and ready to be distributed. I wouldn't have though it would take immediate effect.
