Seems this micro-thing don't happen by accident and is quite common on the gigs. It happened several times on the German concerts also.

Oh no! It must be the only t-shirt in your wardrobe isn't it, Yves?
No no, I've four PSB-shirts but the Nightlife-shirt is the one I most like.

But, how was the concert?!!
It was a great concert yesterday. One of the best sounding performances I've seen last year. I didn't expect so many fans from Holland, UK, Germany and Belgium. It was nice to meet some members of this forum !!!
Before the show, we met Pete Gleadall and talked with him a very long time. He's a very congenial guy.
I've made much pictures. I'll post the link here soon...

Indeed I'm so glad Pete took some time to share some 'tech talk'. A lot of technical questions finally got answered. Very nice to offer a copy of Samplography, thx! But I cannot accept it, since I'm a professional sound designer myself, and I can't risk to use any uncleared samples or illegal copies in my work. Would hurt my career if I got trapped, so it's not worth it. If I really ever need those samples, I would buy them. But anyway, you're very kind. Thx a lot! It was good to see you. Nice MINIMAL plates! :D

According to our news site (vrtnieuws.net), there were 20.000 people on Saturday night.

Dutch-speaking fans might be pleased with this very positive review in newspaper 'De Morgen' :

No photos unfortunately. The website of the festival said "no cameras" and since we had to park very far away we didn't want to risk it.
Of course no-one searched our bags, so we needn't have worried... grmbls.

I loved the show, it was even better than Marktrock (leuven) last year. Had a blast. The backing singers and dancers seemed to have a great time as well, they were teasing each other quite a bit.
I liked the different setlist a lot. "Left to my own devices" is a much better opener.

I was standing second row, I think, to the left. Sounds like the atmosphere was better at the right side, but still.
Chris looked positively petrified during Paninaro, but i'm really glad they included it in the setlist again.

A question though: during Go West Neil sang "I hope you love me" instead of "I know you love me". Has he done this before?

short interview & live fragments

#41 Post by PigletWildebeest »

If you go here: http://www.stubru.be/node/22069
Click on "uur 2". The interview with PSB is at around 40-41 mins.

"Uur 4" promises some live fragments of the show, I'm listening to it now. Will add the times when I hear it.
- At about 5mins, the reporter says he's standing backstage before the start of the concert. There are about 30 people walking around, setting up the stage, the costumes, electronics. He says PSB always bring a great show, and that it usually leaves them virtually bankrupt because they spend so much money on it (probably referring to Performance)
- 13.43: an interview with Yves (from the forum?) who says it's the fifth time he's seen this show (and perhaps I should let him say the rest). He's telling the other fans what to expect and is promoting the forum. :) So yeah, it will be him. The reporter comments it sounds like some kind of PSB-commune.
- 42.40: Heart. Opportunities. Integral.
The reporter says something like "nothing can go wrong", because nothing is live. Hmz.

Well in the interview that PigletWildebeest has posted above the presenter asks about 'Disco 4' and he gets a decidedly lukewarm response. Neil says that it has been discussed with EMI and in all the confusion people like Amazon and HMV have listed it.
