I do not agree with this thing at all. PSB are the ones who are the boss and it's up to them to have the last word about what to release and not release.

Cheers,

I disagree with this petion. I'd rather have NO single than a download only single. I'm strongly against paying money for mp3 files. I always was, I always will be.

I would love to see proper PSB single releases, but no digital downloads. It would be a very bad idea anyway, since PSB singles usually don't do well in download charts. PSB are way better at physical sales. The chart result of a download-only Integral single would be horrible, the attention for it even less.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure PSB did want to release Integral but were talked out of it by the powers-that-be. And to be honest, you can't blame EMI for doing so as the single would have made a loss anyway.
Passion, love, sex, money, violence, religion, injustice and death. More on that story later.

Well, to be honest... there's not much to promote anyway. A single would make sense to promote something. Nobody except for the LOYAL part of die-hard PSB fans will buy Disco 4. Integral wouldn't be promoting anything interesting.

The only reason to release Integral would the strength of the song itself; a possible chart success. But it would serve to promote Fundamental, rather than Disco 4. In retrospect, I wish this whole Disco 4 had never happened and that Integral would simply have been the 4th Fundamental single, with an all new PSB remix on one of the discs.

I'm a loyal PSB fan but I won't be buying Disco 4 - because I won't be fleeced.

Maybe you're right, perhaps they won't listen. But at least I took the chance to do something about it, it's not that big a deal, but I don't run Parlophone, do I? :?

Clau =)
