Chris and Neil have posted a few Pet Texts about the Japan shows on the official site. (I don't know how to do the dark arts myself, so I am unable to reproduce the images here.) Judging by the impressive Tokyo panorama from their respective hotel windows, I guess they may have been staying at the Ritz-Carlton at the hugely swanky new Tokyo Midtown complex, one of the tallest buildings in Japan and seriously chi-chi to boot.

Chris has also posted a picture of himself at a Yayoi Kusama exhibition. I accidentally wandered into that very same exhibition myself this afternoon - it is at the Roppongi Hills development, which is about a five minute walk from Tokyo Midtown. There are pink polka dots on the floor and windows and silver baubles hanging from the ceiling. The picture of Chris is of his reflection in one of the baubles.

Dipso, always ten minutes too late to see the Pets.
Prick up your ears.

Oh yes and the food they had on the train to Tokyo. I like sushi actually.

My Neil Sama Sonic

[Just want to see you]
There is only one contract between my boss and me.
When Pet Shop Boys come to Japan, you don’t need to work.

I decided to wait the boys with my pet pal at Kansai airport on Aug 10.
On the previous day, we stayed at a hotel near the airport.
We had to get up 4:30am, but we woke up earlier.
When we got dressed, I heard the alarm of my cell phone.
The melody is “Miracles”

[At Kansai airport]
We had been waiting for the boys from 5:30am at the airport.
As you know, they appeared at the Singfest in Singapore before coming to Japan.
The 1st flight, 5:45am and the 2nd flight, 6:35am arrived, but they didn’t come.
Soon after arriving 3rd flight, 8:35am, Neil sama appeared!
I made a dash for him, shouting.

“G G G G Good morning!”

He asked us, “What is your name?

Needless to say, we looked for Chris.
He wore no sunglasses and no cap.
He said, “No picture. Quickly.”

I said Neil sama, “I met you in Boston in 2002.”, showing him standby display of my cell phone.
Tears kept filling my eyes.
He didn’t seem to know how to react.
I got his autograph and took a photo with him.

They started to move.
When they loaded a van, we asked for Chris’s autograph.

Chris asked us,“See you tomorrow?”

We shouted, “Tomorrow!! Tomorrow!!”

I secretly tried to take a picture of him when he got in a van
Unfortunately, he noticed and covered his face by his passport.
I was anxious about putting him into a bad mood.
But he smiled and waved his hand until we were out of sight.

[Summer Sonic in Osaka]
Before the show, my pet pal said, “Don’t cry!”
I replied, “I WON’T CRY TODAY!!”
Thanks to a lightalk, I’m sure Neil sama noticed me!

[Summer Sonic in Tokyo]
I made shiny MINIMAL-SHOPPING fans.
“M” on the reverse side is “S”
I asked my pet pal having a fan, “I” on the reverse side is “P” to have a “P” one, too!
I hope the boys could see the fans.

So sorry for my poor English.

Fumiko :D

PS
Can I post the pic of “Sleeping Beauty”, Dipso-chan?
