"So Hard" on the Performance tour and video

I was amused to read that Wayne has listed this particular performance as one of the strangest things that PSB have done over the years.

His text: "The hair! Synchronized hand-gestures! Giant shadows! Umbrellas with question marks! Chris playing with one hand! This transcends mere strangeness. Quite possibly the funniest thing the Pet Shop Boys have ever done. If I hadn't already been a fan-for-life by the time I saw this, it would've made me one."

What do you think of it? I loved it from the moment I saw it, it's probably my favourite part in Performance (along with Always on my mind). Neil has always been saying that they never wanted that traditional rock show, and they clearly managed to make it very different from that!

Performance is genius, but I don't consider So Hard to be one of the highlights.

For me So Hard is the highlight of Performance. Its a great version of the song, both aurally and visually its a treat.

I know they've been doing this a version during the this tour, but I wish they'd do a proper version of it as it sounds fantastic on Performance and Discovery.
