The single is due (apparantly) Oct 15 and then a second single really soon 6 weeks later along with the album--the second single is meant to be more dancey (i'm hoping for the fantastic track done by Biffco with Calvin Harris, In My arms)

KYLIE RELEASES HER TENTH STUDIO ALBUM “X” ON PARLOPHONE ON NOVEMBER 26
The wait is finally over! On November 26th Kylie releases ‘X’, her first new studio album in four years. ‘X’ is preceded by the new single ‘2 Hearts’ on November 12 (available digitally November 5). The Sun have already branded the single a “surefire no. 1”.
The album, Kylie’s 10th, features 13 new tracks and was recorded in London, Stockholm and Ibiza. ‘X’ is Kylie’s first studio album since Body Language in November 2003. It features the first new Kylie material since the greatest hits compilation ‘Ultimate Kylie’ in 2004.
For months fans have been referring to the title of the new album as ‘X’, so when it came to naming the album it was the obvious choice.

Along with the new album ‘X’, Kylie is starring in a brand new documentary ‘White Diamond’ which she made with long-time creative director William Baker. White Diamond gives fans the unique chance to see Kylie’s triumphant return to the world stage with her 2006 Showgirl Homecoming Tour. The film shows Kylie as never before with intimate close up back stage footage and interviews including Kylie talking about her feelings, worries and aspirations on how she and her team take Showgirl from rehearsals to the road first in Australia and then to the UK.
The film will be premiered at Vue cinemas across the UK on October 16th, with a DVD release planned for December. The DVD will feature 2 discs, with Showgirl Homecoming Live (recorded in Melbourne, Australia December 2006) as the second disc.

KEY LYRIC: Open your mind’s eye and light up familiar faces, because in time you’ll find life and all of its graces.
WOW
The second track on the album to show a heavy homage to Daft Punk’s seminal Discovery album – this time taking its cue from the French duo’s One More Time anthem.
The track gives the album a welcome shot in the arm as it nears the end, and is clearly the album’s feel-good party song.
Its funky bassline is guaranteed to get you on the dancefloor.
KEY LYRIC: The way you walk/The rhythm when you’re dancing/Every inch of you spells out desire/ You’re wow, wow, wow, wow.
NU-DI-TY
Starting with a slow and sleazy, dirty beat, this is essentially a house track with Kylie’s vocals cut up and distorted on top.
Urban synths meet with sampled elephant noises, while “whoops” over the top result in the singer’s most bizarre track to date.
Very out of step with the rest of the album.
KEY LYRIC: Time to strip down/Just pop that zipper for me and work that thing out/Just expose it
COSMIC
Just when it looked like the one thing this brilliant album was missing was a huge, anthemic ballad, Kylie saves the best for last.
Huge soaring strings and dramatic key changes collide on the singer’s most heartfelt work in years.
A hugely emotional tale of love and regret.

i think its the opposite for me. I was surprised at the starkness of SLOW..sorta just waiting for it to take off..but on repeat listen it realy grew
2 hearts is quite immediate and its a definite grower. Yes its nothing very spectacular, but thats just the dance-kylie fan in me sorta dissapointed. The video is super cool though, the marilyn on acid look is fabulous
