The 50 had to be chosen from a list,apparently..

Correct me if i'm wrong, but other than George Micheal (who also appears as a part of Wham), only the PSB appear twice?? :D

And in the link OOTC posted, PSB's Was it worth it was also one of the choices.. whats so gay about that :|

They're the songs that you would hear in a really naff gay club.

Yes, I have been to far, FAR too many gay clubs for a straight person.

No Blondie and yet Deborah Harry. Atomic was HUGE in the clubs.

Dannii's This Is It and yet no All I Wanna Do or Put The Needle On It.

If they released that as a compilation album, I would be a very happy person!

Just noticed there is not one single Erasure song, all of their hits are so gay; E haters can be in denial, but the 1st. POP 20 is a classic. Oh well, just happens to be more appealing to the hetero crowd, that's OK. I mean, Copacabana for example is a must, and it's cool when you want to fool around but others listed don't make sense at all. Broad taste.

Speaking of Erasure, "Love To Hate You" would be an obvious choice here, although I guess "I Will Survive" IS already on the list.

I'm not fan, but I agree that Erasure should be on there - the ABBA thing they did perhaps.

When they say that these are the gayest songs ever, they mean gay in its homosexual sense, not gay (or ghey) meaning lame and woeful.

It's true. Certainly among younger people, if something is lame or woeful, it is classed as being gay.

Strange, i know.

Is it 2008 again? WTF with digging up corpse-threads just to write four words?
