Finally! Looks like it'll be called No Line on the Horizon, released this November, and the band and Brian Eno seem to think it's the best work they've done yet. I'll believe it when I hear it, although they are very good at springing brilliance out of nowhere, like Unforgettable Fire after War, Joshua Tree after Unforgettable, and Achtung Baby after Rattle and Hum. I didn't think they could do it again because it seems they've lost their fire and sold out promoting mediocre love pap, and the fact that their last truly great work was 17 years ago. Nevertheless, hopes are up.

I love the way the band and producer think it's the best work they've done yet, the bizarre way in which these sort of quotes send people into a dizzy is amazing. Next up Pfizer release a new medicine with the bombshell that it makes you better
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Achtung Baby and Zooropa are decent U2 albums and, honestly, contain about the only songs by the band i really like and can listen to regularly.
I quite enjoy a few of the 80s ones (Pride, I Will Follow) but the so called classics like With or Without You and 'Streets leave me cold. I think its the way Bono behaves nowadays, all faux earnest and faux "out there". Yuck.
And since the last album you dont see a posed picture of him without his mouth wide open in a roar-stylee, which i presume he thinks hides the fact he's looking bloody old.
