i never said they were huge sellers. I don't know why you've quoted me. Nothing in what you say is relevant to what i have said.

I agree. No-one in their right mind would go and buy an Erasure album on the back of the PSB being awarded an outstanding achievement from the Brits. I'm glad we agree on something. It's just sad that Erasure's record company are deluded enough to think people might.
Ah so you publicly disagree with Loins and his Underpants who hypothesise that the band was up to it as opposed to the label. I now pass the red cape to you to toy with the raging bulls without a cause.

Alrighty then - we heard it here first. PSB will sell "shedloads more". I shall return when sales are tallied for the next project so we can revisit your prediction. In fact, I hereby anoint your new pet name (pardon the pun) "Shedloads More".

It's too bad you didn't use the term "Skyhigh Sales".

Bit like the ballet I suppose!!!
LOL!

And just for the record, the fairytales album (which has morphed into a dark, twisted theme) is something I hope they complete, as I am very looking forward to it. I can see the codpiece titillation in a Ballet concept... but... naw... notsomuch for me, but 'thanks' anyways.

Alright now... glass ceiling again. You've run out of things to counter with, so you decide to pretend I wrote that? How old are you? This is, other than a violation of the board's rules, a pathetic and embarrassing display of intellect deficit once again.

You're witnessing it here today, folks - the complete collapse of Undertaker... or shall I say, the complete unravelling of Underwear.

As already quoted by JS. Erasure dont have much say as far as the record company is concerned. Isnt it obvious that the management etc will make the decision of when to release new material?? As I say, no-one buys erasure albums anymore. Tinkering with the date is irrelevant to sales and putting it out around the Brits will not have the 'desired effect'!

The pet shop boys will sell more. Perhaps not shedloads, but more than normal and i'm sure their back catalogue will be better stocked as a result also. They will certainly sell more than erasure around that time because as you say, no-one is going to buy an erasure album just cos PSB are winning a Brit. Erasure won't, as you say, capitalise from the PSB exposure. It's probably the worst week ever for erasure to release an album really CONTRARY TO WHAT THEIR RECORD COMPANY BELIEVES!!

Perhaps you should make up your mind. I can always call you "Perhaps Not Shedloads More" if you wish. Call me when you decide your stance. I think you and Underwear-wrapped-Loins should have a tête-à-tête (or a toe-to-toe) as you are at loggerheads about who is controlling what and for when it is planned and for what intended purposes it is to serve. What a circus.

Oh, and when you do make up your mind about shedloads more or perhaps not shedloads more, also kindly ask Loins to change his Underwear, as it's gone ripe.

Yeah, and you believe in santa claus as well.Get real, the award is well deserved and etc but it wont make any remarkable difference salewise/chartwise.PSB will sell what they use to sell, they have their niche and even with new album with Xenomania onboard they will just sell the same as if they produced it themselves.Look at the Texas and their Red Book Album produced by Xenomania,it did mediocre chartwise.Girls Aloud sell SHEDLOADS and they would without Xenomania too, because of their looks, miniskirts & money pumped into their promotion.

no you're wrong. the brit award will increase their sales, however hard you find it to comprehend. not only will they sell more of the new album than they normally would, the back catalogue will sell too. I think we could be looking at another no.1 album for the boys. thats something erasure will never achieve again, ever.

I think you're just going to have to tolerate someone's opinion which defers from your own. Deal with it.
Not when that opinion is totally absurd. Some of Hitler's ideas made more sense, yet we didn't agree with him, and rightly so.

What makes you think this?Have you spoken to a forecaster? It's different to wish something and want it happen vs. to foresee things.

At the the end of the day, it doesn't mater what PSB sell. They are getting the outstanding contribution to music award and a few morons have come on here and tried to rain on the parade. It happened when Fundamental was top 5 and now it's happening again and they wonder why they are shot down in flames.

Get over the fact PSB are far superior and have a lot more respect and achieved a lot more. They have worked with numerous high profile artists, as well as continuing to move with the times and keep on producing top quality albums, which has earn't them this award.

Considering the thousands of artists that have been and gone, along with those who are still at it, this is a fantastic achievement.
