Do you need gravitas to play Doctor Who? It's hardly King Lear, just a silly kids show which far too many grown-ups have an interest in. I've watched two episodes, the one where Rose left and the one with the Master and they were both pants. Big build-up for 90% of the show and then a lame ending in which everything works out okay. I was a bit apprehensive when they cast David Tennant, but he proved me wrong in spades. Hope this guy will, too.
