I have just uploaded the Turkish entry for Eurovision. It's called For Real by a punk/ska band called Athena. I'ts not crap enough and so anti-Eurovision. That means we won't qualify to enter next year!

Yeah , but it's one piece of big laugh . Although I'm not sure I would watch it this year :(

By the way : is it true next year the competition would be totally cancelled ?

I can't imagine why they would even consider cancelling it! Where have you heard this?

I think the reason is : the competition is politically-incorrect for some people ! Just think about it : EURO-Vision ! Euro ! Which means - Europe ! Some people cannot accept it . They think it's unfair - why can't Australia take a part in the competition ? Why can't Zimbabwe ? Iraq ? Sudan ? Ethiopia ? Yemen ? So , people like that are pressing on the organizators to make the competition more "international" , intercultural .

From the same reason they cancel some Olympic games , because these kinds of sports considered to be too "white" , "European" and "elitistic" .

The UK, Germany, Spain and France have the highest populations (though doesn't Italy have more people than Spain?) so they have the highest number of viewers and the most power. Simple really :roll:

Should be fun and it can't really get any worse now can it? We survived Guildo Horn and Stefan Raab. How much worse could Westbam be (if he gets that far)?
