Haiku sharing thread

I thought with all the recent media interest in haiku, and the growth in haiku writing partly due to the ease of posting via Twitter, we could come up with some gems. The usual format is non-rhyming and 17 syllables, 5/7/5.

Here are a couple of my summer ones:

Slow, slow, quick quick slow
Summer ball is in full swing
Fox trots across the lawn

Puppy dog barks at
imaginary squirrel
poet cannot see
I'm your puppet
