Yeah, you are correct but he still wasn't found guilty of any charges, so therefore he is 'innocent' and calling him a paedophile is libel. I'd be very surprised if that newspaper doesn't get hammerered.kimphilby wrote:Never found guilty in the first case because when it looked like he was banged to rights he settled out of court.Undertaker wrote:Whatever peoples personal opinion of him is, you still cannot call him a paedophile. Never found guilty in the 2nd case because the legal team that has contributed to Jackson's near bankruptcy (that's how expensive and, therefore, how good they are) managed to turn the under-privileged, under-educated mother of the boy in to a money-grabbing opportunist. She gifted the boy to Jackson and gifted the trial to Jackson's defense.
Thank goodness for the Independent article. At last.
From my point of view, i've always thought he was stitched up but not so sure now. Some of these interviews that emerging are very disturbing.
In his defense, however. I don't care who you are, if your child has been sexually abused, you DO NOT accept a pay off. Also, several of those Neverland workers seem to be coming out of the woodwrk and getting paid for their interviews. Accusations of child abuse again. Surely anyone who knew this was going on, would report it instantly. You can't ignore child abuse, can you?

Wonder how fast hauntings begin after a death. What if someone would make an expreriment and say the last words by the hospital bed, then continue the conversation trough a medium in the next room...

Not that the "ghost" couldn't have been whipped up digitally, but the interiors at Neverland really are ghastly. Gloomy, dark, and dated. What a dreary looking place, no architectural distinction at all.

Yeah it looks like Draculas castle. Michael Jackson never really had any taste. His haircuts and clothes were mostly hideous. Not to mention his makeup. I always thought he could use a good stylist but I guess he was as stubborn in that area as with the medication. I guess he wasn't feeling too great on the inside...poor guy.Deschanel wrote:Not that the "ghost" couldn't have been whipped up digitally, but the interiors at Neverland really are ghastly. FWIW: it was his insurance company that settled out of court, against the wishes of Jackson and his legal team. Given that Jordy Chandler couldn't even get the basics right (eg claiming that MJ's penis was circumcised when it wasn't) I don't blame him and his lawyers for being pissed off because he almost certainly would have won any legal action brought against him. Tough break when you have impatient insurers like that.kimphilby wrote:Never found guilty in the first case because when it looked like he was banged to rights he settled out of court.
She was a money-grabbing opportunist, with a track record of suing people for nothing. She approached Chandler's lawyer before going to the police to report the alleged abuse; says it all really.kimphilby wrote:Never found guilty in the 2nd case because the legal team that has contributed to Jackson's near bankruptcy (that's how expensive and, therefore, how good they are) managed to turn the under-privileged, under-educated mother of the boy in to a money-grabbing opportunist.

Rather hilarious on BBC2 at the moment. Trevor Nelson and Gambo filling the Dimbleby role with all the gravitas you'd expect from Smashie and Nicey.

I cannot imagine Churchills funeral was as serious. Gambos hushed tones are hilarious - the faux grief is jarring - I'm surprised Bonio hasn't gate crashed
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

As OTT as it was, I felt sorry for poor Paris. Wish someone had taken Blanket's gum away.

well, Joe was chewing away too, so that's probably why. I'm just surprised that Joe didn't use the time to plug his new record label again.

The video of the "ghost" is quite funny thing. They must have had fun doing it.
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?
Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

paris's speech was heart breaking. I was rather surprised at the ceremony, thought it was quite spiritual. Wasnt too keen on some of the speeches, but Brooke's was very sincere
