New world order stuff

#1 Post by whateverman42 »

I read this post online and it sums up pretty eloquently what I believe. I'm not a 'conspiracy' junkie, and it seems my beliefs have been dismissed as racist and right wing. It isn't my fault if mistrusting the government attracts crazy people, I'm just using common sense. I try to get specific about corruption, which most people agree exists. I really don't think a 'New World Order' is that crazy, and I don't understand why the idea is scoffed at.

'I've had my doubts on the official line of 9/11 for a long long time. The truth is, there is a lot of secret, classified stuff that goes on and we dont find out about it for 40-50 years and a lot of times we are appalled once its declassified. Like testing radiation on the public in the 50s for instance. Jones touches on unresolved things, like JFK, or 9/11 or the idea of a New World Order of rich industrialists shaping the socioeconomic future of the planet and it really doesnt sound so far fetched.

Where I disconnect is with the heavy anti-semitism that seems also connected to some of the more...accessible of the conspiracy theories. While I disagree with what Israel is doing in Palestine and much of their foreign policy, I have a hard time believing that Jews are the root of all evil as espoused by the fringe.

But the idea that we have no control, that our fates are being decided by a group of people who can fit in a hotel lobby that have enough money and influence to define the shape and direction of economic expansion resonates with me. After centuries of seeing the rich get richer, of basically funding expansion into the New World and creating America, or being the motivation behind the Crusades, or being the main motive for every TV criminal to commit a crime, its an argument that makes sense to most people. Of course theres some super elite rich country club privately holding all the tentacles that THE MAN uses to keep us strapped down. I mean, it has to be, because God wouldnt allow this if he existed, right? The economy is bad because these evil people are purposely killing the middle class through their banking institutions to enslave us and kill off 80% of the population to make the human race more "manageable", right? Yes, it sounds wacky, but given how crazy the world is, it starts to make more sense as people lose hope and start grasping for something to explain why things are the way they are.'

I preferred your posts when you were blaming it all on 12-foot lizards.

He's your next prime minister. Just as well you're going back to work, eh? That social welfare payment of yours is about to be cut, you scrounging, benefit-cheating layabout.

The funny thing is NWO people worry so much about these people controling us and taking away our freedoms. I worry about that sort of thing on a much more basic level. I think most people in the world don't have good education and aren't good at introspecting about themselves. In my opinion knowledge = freedom to a large degree. This is societal freedom, not so much pure metaphysical freedom of which there is no empircal proof for or against at this time. Peoples' lack of awareness about how societal concepts and institutions manifest inside them and drive their emotions and behaviour is so much more a problem then any "New World Order" could ever be. NWO people also tend to ignore sociological roles that those at the top must play, and assume that those people are all going to go against the usual norms, folkways, and morals of whatever position they hold just for...umm...money or power? Another issue is how long as NOW theories been around? I hear people say, yeah, Obama is in on this, he is the new dictator. I'm sure Clinton was supposed to be to right? There is this very very strange air of "deductive reasoning" about NWO believers. I can't tell if it's something they believe themselves, or if they are putting on a show to try to bring us in. I find you can find explantions for most rich/poor issues by just studying demographic trends and some basic sociological insight.

its no coincidence that people who subscribe to one conspiracy theory also usually believe in others also.

they dont see the pattern, that there is something about their mindset that makes them susceptable to these things.

the good news is, they generaly are regated to obscure internet forums and dont make much headway outside the internet, and those that do are properly labled kooks.

they fact so many of them spread these conspiracys blaming secret hit teams for this and that yet never seem themselves to end up at the bottom of a lake rolled up in a carpet with a double tap CIA style gunshot wound or at the least get sent a trojan horse that frys their hardrives is all the proof that there no conspiracy.

I don't subscribe to all conspiracies; your reasoning has been programmed into you. The moon landings were obviously real, and you don't hear any theories about the attempted Reagan assassination because it was pretty clear what happened. JFK and 9/11 are the big ones, and the only ones I'm interested in because of their consequences.

Isn't it blindingly obvious that the handful of people who contol the media would try to shape societies opinions for their own gain? Explain the complete media blackouts of the annual Bilderberg meetings. Honestly, explain. Don't you think the annual convergence of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the western world would attract headlines? It makes more sense when you realize the people who own the papers and TV stations attend and have stakes in the secrecy of the meetings.

How can anyone think that these enormously wealthy people of immense influence and power have the publics best interests at heart? That's what its about. They have undeniable influence and power, but noone seems to notice or care, and just assume politicians (who have been pre-selected) will fix everything. A little-known Arkansas governer attended Bilderberg 1991, in 1992 he was the democratic candidate. Obama attended in 2008, although no one knows due to his hiding from the media for a couple days.

What do you think someone like David Rockefeller does with his time? Drinks brandy, smokes cigars, reads stock quotes? His recurring role at Bilderberg and public lectures about population control indicate to me his desire to create and influence policy. Wealthy industrialists and bankers get to where they are by being ruthless and ambitious, don't assume their benevolence. Especially when there is evidence and coincidences. Funny how weeks before the attacks, the owner of the WTC complex Larry Silverstein took out insurance on terror attacks. He made something like close to a billion dollars. Isn't it naive to call the people who raise eyebrows at these coincidences deluded? Do you just think something like that is interesting and move on?

oh please.its all so silly.these shadowy genuises trying to pass off a missle as a plane when these supposed masterminds had no difficulty flying actual planes into the towers.
brainwashing pilots who then went on to try and pick up call girls risking getting caught up in a city level police sting.

and thats not even going ito these devious masterminds used saudi pilots instead of Iraqi.gee, kind of a headscratcher.

and not bothering to plant WMD on Iraq to cover thier story....
I wouldnt trust these level of masterminds to plan a driveby shooting in compton let alone 9/11.

just silly stuff.I dont know why I'm doing this to myself all over again for the 15th time. I'll let you finish the thread.

So you think because people meet at these Bilderberg meetings in private and don't let reporters in that it's a cover up? Maybe YOUR logic isn't so great. Maybe, just maybe, it's a fallacy to start thinking there is extra stuff going on. What are the chances an insurance policy was taken out shortly before the event happened? Please consult the law of big numbers. The onus is on you for proof. You don't even start to give any sort of proof. This is why it's a conspiracy theory. Other groups meet in private too. Some other buildings got policies taken out just before something happened. Does it mean that they were fraudulent? Your reasoning is sloppy. Work on it.
