That's not a drag queen Mavis, it's a woman, granted an old saggy slapper with kids to support no doubt but a woman nevertheless.
she's a little goer.

At least it looks like there is going to be a new album next year. Lets hope it's decent. I was reading about the comments on the Erasure forum and they are all obsessing over Andy smoking . Judging by his gut, they should worry more about him cutting back the Pork Pies.

theres gonna be a Radiohead release in the same series. Ha ha I wonder how the humourless Thom Yorke will sulk about it
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

I keep getting EIS mail about the Phantom Bride EP every week, some little tidbit about it. WHO CARES?
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

Great remixes though, that has to be said, that ep puts some of the recent psb remixes to shame. I listened to the innocents the other day and it is a great album, unless you are a biased erasure hater that is and if you are then good for you!

No, i'm not a hater. Innocents is a great album. The problem with die hard Erasure fans is they get their knickers in a twist over honest opinions. Pre 1992 was great. Post 1992, on a whole, has been dross.

The Vince remix of the new release is good. The rest are very poor IMO. Especially the Frankmusik effort. It sounds like an out of control child having his first go on a Kazoo.

Erasure have released some superb stuff since 1991! I say I say I say is a pretty good album as is cowboy and even their last couple of albums have had some superb tracks on them. CD 2 (1992-2009) of the recent Total Pop album is actually very good and I find it stupid to judge them just because they weren't as commercially succesful qas before but they are still popular enough to survive and continue releasing albums as well as having tours that sell very well, something that not too many 80's groups can say!
Fine, some people don't agree with that, and prefer to attack Andy Bell all the time which I find a bit strange to be honest.

From a personal point of view, i just find their stuff post 1992 boring and the same old tunes with some shocking lyrics. They just never got a proper grip on anything. Nightbird was alright but not something i'd play very often. Like a lot of bands you like from boyhood, you just get bored and fed up if they don't keep to a certain standard.

Dont like Andy Bell at all but it wouldn't stop me listening to the music though, if they put something out worthwhile and the assault i gave on those remixes was nothing personal either, i find most remixes by most bands rather dull. They are just ruining their best work.
