Any press is good press I suppose.. I didn't know Bernard had a new band, ought to be interesting to hear. But sharks biting your boat? Please. He needs to start dating Kelly Osbourne or something to get some real press attention.

It's an awful album. Lyrically it's embrassing. Musically it's so conservatively dad rock. What was the point?

Only had chance to listen to it once but so far am disappointed. Nothing to particularly dislike but nothing we haven't heard before.

Re: Bernhard Sumner in a Shark Attack
I actually think that BL' debut is pretty good album. It may be not excellent but rather good. Some very poignant titles here. I consciously don't want to draw any parallels with NO/Electronic previous material, though some of those are tempted to pop up on my minds. Only mistake of Bernard, I think - is that he don't want to leave microphone to Jake.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
